How we use cookies

What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file stored on your device when you visit a website. Cookies help the site remember a choice, or measure how the site is used. For how we handle personal information more broadly, see our privacy policy.
Cookies we use
Currency. If you press Accept, we remember the currency you pick so prices stay in that currency. If you press Decline, a change lasts for that visit and is not saved.
Google Analytics (_ga, _ga_*). After you press Accept, we use Google Analytics to see which guides people open. Decline does not load it. You can also block cookies in your browser, or opt out with Google's opt-out add-on.
How to control cookies
Cookie settings in the footer shows the notice again. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser. Blocking analytics cookies limits how useful our traffic data is, and you can still read the guides.
